Cirque Boom's Medicine Show!

A variety program inspired by the touring medicine shows of the nineteenth century-- bands of musicians and performers who sold potions and remedies while entertaining audiences
around the United States. In a special collaboration with chamber/folk ensemble Silkweed,
Cirque Boom updates this tradition with an hour of fun, live music, circus performances –
and medicines designed to cure our contemporary social ills!

Cirque Boom's Medicine Show premiered on December 15, 2005 at the Hudson Guild Theater as part of their Performance ArtWorks! series.
